Disclosure: Wyoming LLC Attorney publishes this comparison and is one of the five services compared. Prices were checked on each company's website in November 2026 and are subject to change. Wyoming LLC Attorney is not a law firm, does not give legal advice, and is not affiliated with any government or state agency.
We compared five services that sell anonymous or private Wyoming LLC formation on their own pages: Northwest Registered Agent, Buffalo Registered Agents, Wyoming Agents, Wyoming LLC Attorney and Corporate Direct. We wrote this page and Wyoming LLC Attorney is one of the five, so we list them by first-year cost and do not name an overall winner. Northwest is lowest of these five in the first year at $139, and Buffalo and Wyoming Agents list $149 and $153. Wyoming LLC Attorney is $378.88 for the first year: $99 plus the $100 state fee, plus a required plan at $14.99 a month. After the first year, Buffalo and Wyoming Agents cost less than we do, and we cost less than Northwest if you buy both registered agent service and annual report filing. Northwest says it has offices in all 50 U.S. states, and our private filing is a Wyoming filing.
An anonymous LLC is a regular LLC whose owner's name does not go on the Wyoming formation filing or in the state's public database. Northwest Registered Agent's own guide says "'Anonymous LLC' isn't its own business entity" and describes it as "a regular limited liability company in which the owner is able to maintain personal privacy protections." In Wyoming, the Articles of Organization ask for the LLC name, a registered agent, mailing and principal office addresses and an organizer's signature, and do not ask for members or managers. A service that signs as the organizer, and lists its own registered agent, keeps the owner's name off the filing. Four of the services below say they do this. Corporate Direct says it forms an entity "without publicly listing your name," and we could not confirm who signs. Privacy here means the public record: the IRS, your bank, and a court order can still require your information. Wyoming annual reports are public too, and registering in another state can add disclosures.
We chose these measures ourselves, so another reader could weigh them differently. We do not combine them into a score or name a winner. Other services sell this too. A service is listed because its own page sells this, not because we judged it better than others. Services are listed by first-year cost, lowest first. Each measure can be checked on a public page.
We did not use review scores to set the order. They appear in a separate section because review bases differ widely in size.
| Service | Fits | First-year cost, with registered agent | Each year after: agent, annual report filing and license tax at the $60 minimum | Where it operates |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Northwest Registered Agent | Owners who want the lowest first-year cost of these five and registered agent reach beyond Wyoming | $139 | $125 + $100 + $60 = $285 | Says it has offices in all 50 U.S. states |
| Buffalo Registered Agents | Owners who want a low first-year total and the lowest published yearly cost of these five for agent and annual report filing, which they add to stay private | $149 as listed | $49 + $102 including the state fee = $151 | Wyoming on the page we read |
| Wyoming Agents | Owners who want a low first-year total and a low published registered agent price | $153 total | $25 + $100 + $60 = $185 | Wyoming |
| Wyoming LLC Attorney | Owners who want one monthly plan covering agent, annual report filing and address | $378.88: $199 plus a required plan at $14.99 a month | $179.88 + $60 = $239.88 | Wyoming (this page) |
| Corporate Direct | Owners buying a larger asset-protection package | Starts at $795 per entity, plus the state fee | Agent starts at $145 per entity; annual report price not confirmed | Its DigitalGuard page names Wyoming |
Prices were checked November 4, 2026. A company with more than $300,000 of Wyoming assets pays more license tax at every service.
Northwest Registered Agent fits owners who want the lowest first-year cost of these five and registered agent reach beyond Wyoming.
On its Wyoming page, Northwest says "If you hire us, we'll do it and keep your name off the paperwork." Formation is $39 plus state fees, and it includes a business address, a year of registered agent service and its identity services. After that, its cost page says "at Northwest we charge $125 per year, and our price never goes up." Its annual report page says "For $100 plus the state-mandated report fee, we'll file your annual report." Renewal service is added automatically with formation and can be cancelled.
Northwest's Wyoming page describes this as privacy and does not use the words "anonymous LLC." Its guide notes that formation papers "become part of the public record." Northwest's LLC page says it has "offices in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, so we can serve as your LLC's Registered Agent wherever you choose to do business in the United States." We read only its Wyoming page for the organizer service, so we do not say whether it signs as organizer in other states.
Where it comes ahead of us: $139 for the first year against our $378.88 with the required plan, and reach. Where we come ahead: each year after the first, if you buy both registered agent service and annual report filing, $179.88 against $225. Northwest's filing service can be cancelled, which leaves its registered agent at $125 a year.
Buffalo Registered Agents fits owners who want a low first-year total and the lowest published yearly cost of these five for agent and annual report filing, which they add to stay private.
Its Private Wyoming LLC page says "we can legally sign as your Organizer and act as your Wyoming registered agent" and "An Organizer is not an owner of your LLC." It also says "If you want to remain private, you need a Nominee to prepare and submit your Annual Report each year," and prices its Renewal Service at "$102 (includes state fee)."
The page lists the package at "Only $149 Total" and does not itemize that total. Its home page prices an ordinary formation at $152, made up of the state's $103 and "a year of our Buffalo registered agent service ($49)." After the first year, the home page gives the agent as "$49 a year," which with the $102 Renewal Service comes to $151 including the state fee at the minimum. The package page we read covers Wyoming.
Where it comes ahead of us: $149 as listed for the first year against our $378.88 with the required plan, and $151 a year after that against our $239.88, both with the state's fee included.
Wyoming Agents fits owners who want a low first-year total and a low published registered agent price.
Its Wyoming LLC page says "We sign as the LLC organizer to keep your info offline" and gives a price of "$153 total. That includes all fees and everything." Another page on the same site says "$150 total"; we use $153. An EIN is extra: "$75 (with SSN) or $250 (without a SSN)," per its EIN page. The pages we read are Wyoming only.
After the first year, its page says "We charge $25 for registered agent services" and that annual report filing is "just $100 plus state fees," which comes to $125 before the state's license tax, against our $179.88. It says you can cancel the filing service "inside your client portal with one click." The pages we read state no limits on what the privacy covers beyond "if you do it right."
Where it comes ahead of us: $153 for the first year against our $378.88 with the required plan, and $125 a year after that against our $179.88.
Wyoming LLC Attorney fits owners who want one monthly plan covering the registered agent, annual report filing and business address, and will pay a higher first-year cost for it.
Private filing is included in every package, and we found no extra charge for privacy on our pricing. The Starter package is $99 plus the $100 Wyoming state fee, which is $199. A plan from $14.99 a month is required and holds the registered agent, so the first year is $378.88: $199 plus $179.88 for twelve months of the plan. The plan covers the registered agent, annual report filing and business address.
Where others cost less: it costs more in the first year than Northwest, Buffalo or Wyoming Agents, and more each year after than Buffalo or Wyoming Agents. Its lowest plan includes annual report filing, so filing the report yourself does not lower the price. Its private filing is a Wyoming filing. Its limit is the same as every service here: privacy means the public record, and the IRS, your bank, and a court order can still require your information. A bank sees the owners of the company.
To see how our private filing works and what it costs, read Form an Anonymous LLC.
Corporate Direct fits owners buying a larger asset-protection package rather than the lowest-cost private filing.
Its DigitalGuard package is listed "Starting at* $795 per Entity" and is described as a way to "form your entity without publicly listing your name." A Nominee Service add-on is $650 a year. It also publishes starting prices of $895 for SmartStart and $1,360 for RealShield, which it describes as a "Holding & Operating Structure." Its registered agent page shows "Starting at $145 per Entity / year."
We could not confirm whether Corporate Direct itself signs as the organizer, what a Wyoming order totals, or what its annual report filing costs. Its starting price is the highest of the five, so it is listed last and left out of the cost table below.
First-year cost means the service fee plus the Wyoming filing fee, with the first year of registered agent service, as each service prices it. Yearly cost means registered agent plus annual report filing, with Wyoming's license tax at the $60 minimum. The table is sorted by first-year cost, lowest first.
| Service | Service fee | Wyoming filing fee as priced | First-year registered agent | First-year cost | Each year after, with license tax at the $60 minimum |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Northwest Registered Agent | $39 | $100 by mail; $104 online with its card fee | Included | $39 + $100 = $139 | $125 + $100 + $60 = $285 |
| Buffalo Registered Agents | Not itemized | Not itemized | Included | "Only $149 Total" | $49 + $102 including the state fee = $151 |
| Wyoming Agents | $50 | $103 | Included | $50 + $103 = $153 | $25 + $100 + $60 = $185 |
| Wyoming LLC Attorney | $99 | $100 | In the required plan: $14.99 x 12 = $179.88 | $99 + $100 + $179.88 = $378.88 | $179.88 + $60 = $239.88 |
Northwest costs $239.88 less than Wyoming LLC Attorney in the first year ($378.88 minus $139). Each year after the first, if you buy both services, Wyoming LLC Attorney costs $45.12 less than Northwest ($285 minus $239.88), $54.88 more than Wyoming Agents ($239.88 minus $185) and $88.88 more than Buffalo ($239.88 minus $151). The bundles differ: our plan includes annual report filing and a business address, while Northwest's $39 includes a year of agent service, a business address and its identity services. State fees also differ by how the filing is made. Northwest's page lists $100 by mail and $104 online, and Wyoming Agents' total uses $103.
We did not include these services because the pages we read do not show an anonymous formation product, or say different things about it.
Review scores are from Trustpilot and rest on very different numbers of reviews, so treat them as rough. They are listed by number of reviews.
Corporate Direct's score is above ours, on 19 reviews.
An anonymous LLC is a regular LLC whose owner's name does not go on the Wyoming formation filing or in the state's public database. Northwest Registered Agent's guide says "'Anonymous LLC' isn't its own business entity." In Wyoming, a service signs as the organizer and lists its registered agent on the filing, so the owner's name is not on it.
Of these five, Northwest Registered Agent, at $139 ($39 plus the $100 state fee), with a first year of registered agent service. Buffalo Registered Agents lists $149 and Wyoming Agents $153 total. Wyoming LLC Attorney is $378.88: $99 plus the $100 state fee, plus a required plan at $14.99 a month.
No. Privacy here means the public record. The IRS, your bank, and a court order can still require your information.
