Disclosure: Wyoming LLC Attorney publishes this comparison. Prices were checked on each company's website in November 2026 and are subject to change. Wyoming LLC Attorney is not a law firm, does not give legal advice, and is not affiliated with any government or state agency.
Wyoming LLC Attorney fits owners who want a private Wyoming filing, a guided path to an anonymous holding company, and prices posted for a Wyoming order. Corporate Direct fits owners who want the deeper asset-protection build: a company with services supervised by attorneys at Sutton Law Center, and holding company tools Wyoming LLC Attorney does not sell. On published prices, Wyoming LLC Attorney's entry is lower: a $99 Starter package, plus the $100 state fee and the required $14.99/month plan, against Corporate Direct's "starting at" $695 to $895 formation packages, before state fees. The two are built differently, and we found no Wyoming total on the Corporate Direct pages we checked, so this page compares what each publishes rather than a three-year bottom line.
This guide compares the two on privacy, asset protection, holding companies, cost, filing speed, your registered agent and address, annual reports, setup and support, forming from outside the US, and attorney access. Prices come from each company's own pages and the Wyoming Secretary of State, checked on November 4, 2026.
Corporate Direct's prices are "starting at" figures per entity, so they are shown as published and labeled as such. Wyoming LLC Attorney's are the prices for a Wyoming order: a $99 Starter package (one-time), the $100 Wyoming filing fee, and the $14.99/month Standard plan that is required with each order.
| Wyoming LLC Attorney | Corporate Direct | |
|---|---|---|
| Formation price | $99 Starter, plus the $100 state fee, plus the $14.99/month plan | "Starting at" $695 (FormForward), $795 (DigitalGuard), or $895 (SmartStart) per entity |
| Private (anonymous) filing | Included in every package, with Wyoming LLC Attorney as organizer | Every package lists "Gold-Standard Privacy"; DigitalGuard, "starting at" $795, is its Wyoming privacy structure |
| Registered agent | In the Standard plan ($14.99/month) | "Starting at" $145 per entity per year |
| Annual report filing | Filed for you in the Standard plan | No annual report price on the pages we checked |
| Three-year and five-year Wyoming total | $858.64 and $1,338.40* | Not published |
| Filing speed | Submitted within 24 business hours or your payment is refunded, on every package | No standard turnaround found; expedited formation is $350 per entity |
| Holding company depth | Anonymous holding company path; International+ ($399) covers a parent and its first subsidiary | Strongest here: RealShield, "starting at" $1,360, includes an Armor8 protected Wyoming or Nevada holding company |
| Supervision | Not a law firm; independent attorneys are bookable for a consultation | "Services are supervised by Garrett Sutton, Esq. and Ted Sutton, Esq. of Sutton Law Center"; not a law firm itself |
| Legal questions | Book a consultation with an independent licensed attorney at their own law firm, not affiliated with Wyoming LLC Attorney; the attorneys set their own fees | Sutton Law Center consultation, $295 per hour |
| Forming without an SSN | Foreign EIN in International+, plus bank application support | No non-resident or international service found on the pages checked |
*Wyoming LLC Attorney's totals cover an operating agreement, filing, a registered agent, annual report filing, and Wyoming state fees; the breakdown is in the cost section below. Attorney consultations are with independent attorneys at their own law firms, not affiliated with Wyoming LLC Attorney, which is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
A holding company is one parent LLC that owns other LLCs, often one per property or business. Wyoming LLC Attorney's International+ package is $399 one-time and covers the parent and its first subsidiary. A company on its $49.99/month Virtual Office+ plan can form one subsidiary for the state fee alone. Corporate Direct's RealShield package is built for this job.
| Wyoming LLC Attorney | Corporate Direct | |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous holding company (private parent owns the operating LLC) | Productized: the parent is filed privately with Wyoming LLC Attorney as organizer | RealShield: "Holding & Operating Structure," "starting at" $1,360, with "Holding Company Protection" and an Armor8 protected holding company |
| Formation for a parent plus one subsidiary | One International+ package ($399 once, plus the required monthly plan) covers the parent and its first subsidiary, which is ordered after the parent is formed. The subsidiary's first month of plan is free, then it pays its own plan | Included in the RealShield package; "$100 off each additional formation" after the first two entities |
| Adding more entities (one LLC per property) | A company on Virtual Office+ can form one subsidiary for the state fee alone; each company keeps its own plan | FormForward, "starting at" $695 per entity; RealShield takes $100 off each additional formation after the first two entities |
| Extras | Guided setup, including moving existing LLCs under the parent; Assignment of Interest documents are a separate order | Armor8 certificated membership storage in Wyoming or Nevada; Nominee Service, $650 per year |
| Registered agent and compliance | $14.99/month Standard plan per company covers its registered agent, business address, and annual report filing | Registered agent "starting at" $145 per entity per year; annual report price not published on the pages checked |
| Companies in other states | Sister brand LLC Attorney forms companies in all 50 states | Registered agent service in all 50 states; foreign qualification, $349 per state |
Prices and features checked November 4, 2026 on Wyoming LLC Attorney's pricing page and Corporate Direct's RealShield, DigitalGuard, SmartStart, and registered agent pages. State fees from the Wyoming Secretary of State, which adds a card processing fee of 2.4% of the filing fee (minimum $1) to online filings.
Most owners choose Wyoming for privacy, asset protection, low state fees, and simple upkeep. Compare services on these nine points:
Information on a Wyoming filing "will be public upon filing," according to the Wyoming Secretary of State. The Articles of Organization do not ask for members or managers, but an organizer signs them, so whoever files for you decides whose name goes on the record.
Wyoming LLC Attorney acts as the organizer on the Wyoming LLCs it forms, so its name goes on the filing instead of yours. In its words: "Only the organizer of the company, which is us, is known to the Secretary of State. Your name does not appear on the formation documents" (Form a Wyoming LLC). Anonymous and private filing is included in every package, starting with the $99 Starter (plus the required monthly plan), and its privacy page states: "Every WY LLC we file is private." Keeping your name off the state filing does not keep it from banks, the IRS, or a court that requires it.
Corporate Direct treats privacy as a core product. Every package lists "Gold-Standard Privacy," and its DigitalGuard package, "starting at" $795, says: "We leverage Wyoming's favorable privacy laws to form your entity without publicly listing your name." DigitalGuard is described as an "Enhanced Privacy Structure," and a Nominee Service is available as an add-on at $650 per year. The pages we checked do not say whether Corporate Direct acts as the organizer of your Articles.
Both offer a real private Wyoming structure, and Corporate Direct's DigitalGuard is a dedicated product for it. Wyoming LLC Attorney is the choice if you want private filing from the $99 Starter (plus the required monthly plan), with its name as organizer on the filing, and an anonymous holding company built on it. Corporate Direct is a reasonable choice if you want a privacy structure with a nominee add-on from a firm known for asset protection. As one customer put it: "I would highly recommend anyone wishing to start up an anonymous LLC to go with Wyoming LLC Attorney." (Wayde Stallard, Trustpilot, November 1, 2024)
Many owners form in Wyoming for asset protection, often with a holding company: one parent LLC that owns other LLCs, frequently one per property, business, or asset (Wyoming LLC Attorney). Wyoming's charging-order protection is a core reason the structure is built there.
Wyoming LLC Attorney sets up Wyoming holding companies, including anonymous holding companies, where a private Wyoming holding LLC is the listed owner of your operating LLC. It guides you through the setup steps and provides resources built for it; it does not give legal advice, act as your law firm, or design a legal structure for you. Its International+ package ($399) includes one foreign entity filing or one subsidiary, with the subsidiary's first month of plan free and its own plan after that, and a company on its $49.99/month Virtual Office+ plan can form one subsidiary for the state fee alone. Each company keeps its own compliance plan. Moving an existing LLC under a parent is a separate $100 Assignment of Interest order. Trusts are not part of any plan; a trust consultation is booked separately. For companies in other states, its sister brand, LLC Attorney, forms companies in all 50 states.
This is Corporate Direct's home ground. It describes its team as "led by a Rich Dad Advisor and bestselling author" and cites "35+ Years in Asset Protection" and "13,000+ Clients Protected." Its RealShield package, "starting at" $1,360 for a "Holding & Operating Structure," includes "Armor8 protected Wyoming or Nevada holding company," "Holding Company Protection," EIN application assistance, and its privacy package. Corporate Direct describes Armor8 as a service that "certifies your LLC membership certificates and stores them securely in Wyoming or Nevada." Wyoming LLC Attorney's pricing page lists no equivalent product. We found no trust or estate planning product on the Corporate Direct pages we read; Sutton Law Center, the separate firm linked in its footer, is not covered here.
Corporate Direct is the choice if the holding company is the main event and you want a firm with a long asset-protection record, a packaged holding and operating structure, and Armor8. Wyoming LLC Attorney is the choice if you want a lower-cost, guided path to a Wyoming holding company, an anonymous parent filed privately, a first subsidiary in the $399 International+ package, and LLC Attorney for companies in other states. One customer wrote: "I wanted to structure my LLC's to be managed by my holding company, and Sarah Curren was extremely helpful." (Rosalio Altamirano, Trustpilot, November 14, 2024)
Corporate Direct publishes prices, but they are "starting at" figures per entity, so neither side can honestly be called cheaper in total. Every Wyoming entity needs a registered agent, and annual reports are due every year (Wyoming Secretary of State), so the real price is what you pay in year one and every year after. Wyoming LLC Attorney's prices below are the prices for a Wyoming order. Corporate Direct's pages we checked do not give a Wyoming total, an annual report price, or a renewal term, so no three- or five-year figure is built for it here.
One-time formation package prices for a single LLC. Corporate Direct's are "starting at" prices; the SmartStart page says "Pricing does not include state filing fees." A monthly plan is required with each Wyoming LLC Attorney order.
| Package level | Wyoming LLC Attorney | Corporate Direct |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | Starter: $99 + state fee, paid once. Operating agreement and private filing included | FormForward: "starting at" $695 per entity. | Standard formation | Professional: $199 + state fee. Adds an EIN and a certificate of good standing | SmartStart: "starting at" $895; lists "Single Entity Armor8 protection," EIN application assistance, and "Compliance & Filing Support" |
| Privacy structure | Included in every package, from Starter | Every package lists "Gold-Standard Privacy"; DigitalGuard, "starting at" $795, is its Wyoming privacy structure |
| Holding company | International+: $399 + state fee. Adds a foreign EIN, an apostille, a custom certificate of incumbency, and one subsidiary or foreign entity filing | RealShield: "starting at" $1,360; holding and operating structure with Armor8 |

| Expedited formation | Every package is submitted within 24 business hours or refunded | $350 per entity |
Prices shown before the $100 Wyoming filing fee at Wyoming LLC Attorney. Corporate Direct's SmartStart price was identical across four separate page loads on November 4, 2026; a quote after a consultation may differ.
Assumptions: Starter ($99, one-time) plus the Standard plan ($14.99/month). Online card fees are left out.
| Wyoming LLC Attorney | |
|---|---|
| Formation package | $99 (Starter) |
| Wyoming filing fee | $100 |
| Registered agent, three years | $539.64 ($14.99/month Standard plan, which also covers annual report filing and a physical business address) |
| Annual report filing, first two reports | Included in the Standard plan |
| Wyoming annual report tax, first two reports | $120 |
| Total after three years | $858.64 |
| Total after five years | $1,338.40 |
Wyoming LLC Attorney's first year is $378.88 ($99 + $100 + $179.88). After that it costs $239.88 a year ($179.88 plan + $60 Wyoming tax). Wyoming's annual report license tax is $60 or two-tenths of a mill on the dollar of Wyoming assets, whichever is greater (Wyoming Secretary of State). Prices are current list rates as of November 4, 2026. Corporate Direct's column is left empty on purpose: building a total would mean assuming whether its first registered agent year is included and what an annual report costs, and its pages do not say.
Assumptions for Wyoming LLC Attorney: a parent plus one subsidiary: the International+ package ($399, one-time, covering the parent and its first subsidiary), two $100 Wyoming filing fees, and a $14.99/month Standard plan for each company, less the subsidiary's free first month ($14.99), with the $60 license tax counted for both companies. For Corporate Direct, only its published starting price is shown. The two are not like for like: RealShield includes Armor8 and a holding company structure built by Corporate Direct, and International+ includes a foreign EIN, an apostille, and a certificate of incumbency.
| Wyoming LLC Attorney | Corporate Direct | |
|---|---|---|
| Parent and first subsidiary, package price | $399 (International+, one-time) | "Starting at" $1,360 (RealShield) |
| Registered agent, address, and annual report filing, per company | $14.99/month Standard plan per company ($179.88 a year) | Registered agent "starting at" $145 per entity per year; annual report not priced on the pages checked |
| Two companies, total after three years | $1,903.29 | Not published |
| Two companies, total after five years | $2,862.81 | Not published |
If you want a published price for a Wyoming order and the lowest entry point, Wyoming LLC Attorney is lower: $99 against Corporate Direct's lowest "starting at" $695, and $399 for a parent and first subsidiary against its "starting at" $1,360, with the required plan per company on our side. Corporate Direct is the choice if the extra spend buys the Armor8 holding company build, a firm with a long asset-protection record, and attorney supervision, and you are comfortable pricing the rest by consultation. "Amazing phone support and assistance during and after sign up. Very organized web portal and interface. Good all the way around. And best of all not pushy, just informative." (Trustpilot review, July 20, 2026)
The IRS says to "form your entity through the secretary of state before you apply for an EIN" (IRS). In Wyoming, a company filed online "is active as soon as the online filing process is completed" (Wyoming Secretary of State).
Wyoming LLC Attorney's website carries a guarantee: "Your filing will be submitted within 24 business hours or we'll refund your payment." The guarantee applies to every package. Its online filing forms "take 10 minutes to complete." For a company within the hour, its separate instant formation option ($249 flat plus the state fee) files a Wyoming LLC in 60 minutes during business hours, or the $249 fee is refunded.
Corporate Direct sells Expedited Formations at $350 per entity. We found no standard turnaround time or filing-time guarantee on the pages checked. Its refund policy allows a full refund within 30 days of purchase if no documents have been submitted. Its RealShield FAQ says "it may take a few weeks for the Secretary of State to form your LLC," which describes state timing rather than a promise from the firm.
Wyoming LLC Attorney is the choice if you want the timing in writing, with a refund when it is missed, and without paying an extra fee per entity. Corporate Direct's process starts with a consultation; ask about timing, and its $350 expedited option, if you have a deadline.
Every Wyoming business entity needs a registered agent to accept service of process (Wyoming Secretary of State), and "the registered agent must have a physical address in Wyoming" (Articles of Organization). That address is not automatically one you can use for your website, bank account, or mail.
Wyoming LLC Attorney's $14.99/month Standard plan bundles your registered agent, a physical business address, annual report filing, annual meeting minutes, and five free mail scans a year in one plan. Its registered agent office is at 1309 Coffeen Ave in Sheridan, Wyoming, and every client gets a portal for documents and filings. The $49.99/month Virtual Office+ plan adds a unique Wyoming business address, a lease, phone forwarding, and unlimited mail scans.
Corporate Direct offers registered agent service in all 50 states, "starting at" $145 per entity per year, and has offices in Wyoming and Nevada. The "starting at" price is not a Wyoming quote. Mail forwarding for Nevada and Wyoming is a separate add-on, starting at $360 per year. The package pages we read do not say whether the first year of registered agent service is included.
Corporate Direct is the choice if you want a stand-alone registered agent from a firm with offices in Wyoming and Nevada, and the price it quotes you works for you. Wyoming LLC Attorney is the choice if you want the agent, a physical business address, annual meeting minutes, and annual report filing in one monthly plan from a company that works on Wyoming entities. It holds 4.5 on Trustpilot, more than 900 reviews (checked November 4, 2026).
Wyoming annual reports "are due every year on the first day of the month in which the company was filed" (Wyoming Secretary of State), with a license tax of at least $60. An LLC that falls behind can be dissolved by the state, which puts the liability protection you formed it for at risk.
Wyoming LLC Attorney files your annual report as part of every compliance plan, starting with the $14.99/month Standard plan. You pay the state's license tax, which starts at $60. The plan also prepares annual meeting minutes, so your company records stay in order.
On the pages we checked, FormForward and RealShield list "Compliance & Regulatory Filings" and SmartStart lists "Compliance & Filing Support." On the pages we checked it publishes no annual report price, no renewal term for its packages, and no first-year-only language, so the cost of staying in good standing is something to ask about before you order.
Wyoming LLC Attorney is the choice if you want annual report filing and annual meeting minutes at a posted monthly price. Corporate Direct fits owners who want to price compliance by consultation as part of a larger asset-protection plan.
Forming on your own means checking name availability, completing the Articles of Organization, getting your registered agent's consent, and tracking your annual report date (Wyoming Secretary of State). A good service takes those steps off your plate and has a person ready for questions.
Wyoming LLC Attorney's online filing forms "take 10 minutes to complete," and its advisors answer the phone at +1-307-683-0983. For a holding company, the advisors guide you through the setup, including moving existing LLCs under the parent; they do not give legal advice, act as your law firm, or design a legal structure for you. After formation, a client portal keeps your documents and filings in one place.
Corporate Direct is consult-first: its pages direct you to "Schedule a Free Consultation," and we found no online cart on the pages we read. It advertises "Direct access to attorneys and paralegals," with paralegal assistance at $145 per hour. Its Trustpilot profile shows a TrustScore of 4.6 from 19 reviews, all five-star (Trustpilot, checked November 4, 2026).
Corporate Direct is the choice if you want a consultation first and a named asset-protection firm behind the process. Wyoming LLC Attorney is the choice if you want to order online with a 10-minute form and advisors who work on Wyoming entities, including holding company setups. "It was such a pleasure working with Victor on the phone today setting up my LLC." (Michele, Trustpilot, June 17, 2026)
Wyoming's Articles of Organization ask for no owner information, so you can form from outside the US. The EIN is harder: the IRS online application requires the responsible party's SSN or ITIN, and applicants whose principal place of business is outside the US "apply by phone, fax or mail" (IRS). A US business bank account is usually the next step.
Wyoming LLC Attorney's International+ package ($399 once, plus the required monthly plan) includes a foreign EIN, an apostille, a Certificate of Incumbency, and one subsidiary or foreign entity filing. For banking, "You do not have to travel to the USA or have a SSN," Wyoming LLC Attorney says, and when it forms your LLC it prepares and submits your business bank application to its partner bank. The bank makes the final decision, and partner banks cannot accept owners from some countries. The IRS, not the filing service, sets how long an EIN takes for applicants without an SSN.
Corporate Direct's packages list EIN application assistance and banking setup assistance or guidance. We searched its home page, registered agent page, and package pages for non-resident, international, or ITIN support and found none.
Wyoming LLC Attorney is the choice if you want the foreign EIN, apostille, Certificate of Incumbency, a first subsidiary, and a submitted bank application in one package. A non-US owner considering Corporate Direct should ask what its EIN assistance covers. "For someone outside of the USA this was insanely easy, extremely well done and great information online, via email and via phone." (Perr, Trustpilot, February 25, 2026)
You do not need a lawyer to file a Wyoming LLC; the Wyoming Secretary of State accepts filings online. Questions about taxes, adding owners, or asset protection can still come up after you form.
Every Wyoming LLC Attorney package includes access to book a consultation, starting with the $99 Starter (plus the required monthly plan). You can book a consultation with a licensed business attorney, including attorneys admitted to practice in Wyoming. Consultations are with the attorneys' own law firms, which are not affiliated with Wyoming LLC Attorney, and the attorneys set their own fees. Any terms for a consultation are between you and the attorney's firm. Wyoming LLC Attorney is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
Corporate Direct states that it is not a law firm, and that its "services are supervised by Garrett Sutton, Esq. and Ted Sutton, Esq. of Sutton Law Center." A Sutton Law Center consultation is a listed add-on at $295 per hour. This is a real advantage: the services are supervised by attorneys of a named firm.
Corporate Direct is the choice if you want attorney supervision of the service itself, by attorneys at Sutton Law Center. Wyoming LLC Attorney is the choice if you want to be able to book a consultation with an independent licensed business attorney, at the attorney's own law firm and fee, while working with the company that formed your LLC.
Here is who wins on each point. Corporate Direct wins on holding company depth, attorney supervision, and its asset-protection track record. Wyoming LLC Attorney wins on published Wyoming prices, entry cost, a posted filing guarantee, compliance in one monthly plan, and a published package for owners outside the US.

Yes, as "starting at" prices per entity: FormForward $695, DigitalGuard $795, SmartStart $895, RealShield $1,360, and registered agent service $145 per year. They are not Wyoming totals. State filing fees are not included in SmartStart pricing, and the pages we checked give no annual report price.
Wyoming LLC Attorney's Starter package is $99 plus the $100 Wyoming filing fee, paid once, and includes the operating agreement and private filing. The required $14.99/month Standard plan covers the registered agent, a physical business address, and annual report filing, so year one totals $378.88 and each later year is about $240 including Wyoming's $60 minimum annual license tax.
Corporate Direct. Its RealShield package, "starting at" $1,360, includes an Armor8 protected Wyoming or Nevada holding company, and it cites 35 years in asset protection. Wyoming LLC Attorney files anonymous Wyoming holding companies and guides you through the setup steps; it does not give legal advice. Its International+ package ($399, plus the required monthly plan) covers a parent and its first subsidiary.
Both offer a private Wyoming structure. Wyoming LLC Attorney acts as the organizer on the Wyoming LLCs it forms, so your name does not appear on the formation documents, and private filing is included in every package. Corporate Direct sells DigitalGuard, "starting at" $795, to form an entity "without publicly listing your name."
Yes. Every Wyoming LLC Attorney package includes access to book a consultation with a licensed business attorney. Any terms for a consultation are between you and the attorney's firm. The attorneys work at their own law firms, which are not affiliated with Wyoming LLC Attorney. Wyoming LLC Attorney itself is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Corporate Direct's services are supervised by attorneys at Sutton Law Center, and its consultation is $295 per hour.
Yes. Wyoming's Articles of Organization ask for no owner information. Without an SSN or ITIN you cannot use the IRS online EIN application, and applicants based outside the US apply by phone, fax, or mail. Wyoming LLC Attorney's International+ package includes a foreign EIN and a bank application to its partner bank, which makes the final decision. We found no non-resident service on the Corporate Direct pages we checked.
Wyoming LLC Attorney guarantees your filing is submitted within 24 business hours or your payment is refunded, and Wyoming makes an online filing active as soon as the online filing process is completed. Corporate Direct sells expedited formation at $350 per entity and publishes no standard turnaround on the pages we checked. Wyoming LLC Attorney's instant formation option ($249 flat plus the state fee) files in 60 minutes during business hours, or the $249 fee is refunded.
